Concert Jazz'In Marbach/Nina Simone, l'écorchée vive/Grégory Ott & Sélia Setodzo

Obermorschwihr

16/08/2026

“Jazz isn’t just music; it’s a way of life, a way of being and thinking,” said Nina Simone, an icon of American music.

A voice for an entire people, an artist forever marked by the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and by her failure to become the first Black classical pianist. Her music, always imbued with protest, remains unclassifiable: a unique signature blending baroque, spirituals, and jazz.

Grégory Ott and Sélia Setodzo take us on a journey through her rebellion and her commitment.

She had a dream...

With Selia Setodzo, vocals - Grégory Ott, piano.
